The winter is finally over and you don't have to ride the crowded skateparks anymore. After long winters rails are rusted, curbs don't have wax anymore and really nothing slides good enough anymore. Wax of candles is okay but it is normally really crumby and it is annoying to wax spots with it. The FBM wax doesn't only look very nice it also slides super well. If a curb or rail won't even slide proper with this wax than it won't never slide good.

Every of my frame cracked after half a year of riding it. This is why I don't want to have those super light frames I simply want to have a solid frame. The whole Bone Deth crew likes do big gaps and Sean Burns is no exception so I'm really into the Bone Deth "Creepozoid" BMX Frame. I also like the geometry very much and their is a fitting top tube for everyone because you can get it with a 20.5" or 21" top tube. Black is the classical color of all BMX frames looks always good and this frame also has some nice artworks, too. This frame is simply awesome and it could definitly be my next frame of choice.

Hubguards are the best thing that happend to BMX since there're are pegs in my opinion because grinding can damage your hub shell and spokes really hard. The main problem is that there're a lot of different cassette hubs and they're all a little bit different and that there is no good allround hubguard. If you want to buy a hubguard you always have to ask yourself the same question: Which hubguard fits my hub? You can make nearly every hubguard fit with violence, try and error and filing but this really sucks. Luckily the guys at BSD designed hubguards which fit a lot of different hubs and the made a data sheet for every hubguard that you know for which hubguard it fits well. I live pretty far away from parents right now and I don't want to miss my BMX bike when I'm around. Until know I've used two times a bmx bike box and took it with me in a train. I like to grind a lot and I mainly do this on my driver side. To protect my chain I ride a bashguard sprocket but my chains still snap way to often. I'm really afraid of this to happen because a snapping chain can end in painful crashes. Sadly there're not much solid chains anymore thanks to the light weight trend. This DK chains seems to be really solid to me. The design implies that it will last much longer than normal chains if you grind a lot and the halflinks let you ride the exactly length you want to ride. I also think that this chain looks really nice.

I'm a big fan of street riding. I can't imagine anything better than go street riding on a daily basis. For this you need a good frame and Vinnie Sammon's Skavenger signature frames is really perfect for that. The geometry is nice and it has top tube sizes of 20.5" and 21". So everybody will be happy with this frame's specs. Vinnie had a lot of great video parts and really let me be a fan and so am I a fan of his frame. I really like the blue color and also the detailed tunnel logo at the seat tube. If you can spend some more money than usual and are into street riding pick up this frame. You need a wedge pivotal post for this frame and the Animal "Wedge" Pivotal Seat Post is included.

This rim may not be the lightest or most up to date rim but it is one of the most bought BMX rims ever for several reasons. As I started riding the Odyssey "Hazard Lite" Rim already existed. Back in these days it was already known for its stability and the low weight. Back then its low weight was of course a lot more impressive than it is nowadays. I've ridden this rim for nearly two years and I hadn't to center my back wheel to often. And this is one of the most important advantages over "ultra-light-weight" rims: You don't have to be afraid of a destroyed back wheel if you mess up a 180 every time.

Normal sprockets don't circulate very well but this Tree sprocket does. This is because this sprocket does have the spline drive system. It functions perfectly with a 19mm BMX crank with a 48 spline. The used 7075 alloy and the hardened steel insert lets this sprocket be very light and stable. If I would have to pick up a new sprocket right now than the Tree "Lite Splined" Sprocket would be my choice.

November last year I hit my left leg and shin really hard a couple of times. Afterwards I couldn't walk without having pain for some days and also couldn't ride for 3 weeks. My leg still hurted a little bit but I wanted to ride a little bit and during the first session I hit my left leg with my pegs. As a result I couldn't walk properly again, had a very hard blister and I wasn't able to ride the last 2 months of 2011. I probably could have saved myself from this all if I had bought these shinguards earlier. They protect your shin very well and so do they also protect your inner part of your legs. You can for sure start your whipping carrier with these guards.

I'm a big fan of grinds and therefore I do need good pegs. They should be to light, stable and may grind on roughcast. Somehow I'm taking with the Bone Deth pegs. They have anti-roation-pins, are made of 4130 CrMo and they're available for 10mm and 14mm axles. The pegs are sold as singles and the 14mm pegs come with 10mm adapters. The name Bone Deth implies that they will last forever and I really enjoyed the Bone Deth - Diet Grinders advertisment.

At first I bristled to ride plastic pedals because I thought things like "they won't last" and "they'll loose grip too easy" while street riding. I've been riding a lot of tires and the KHEbikes "MAC Street" Folding Tire had been my first foldable tires. At first I noticed the low weight and they just roll perfectly. The rubber comound is also very durable but they also have a con: You get flats because of shards more easily compared to normal tires. But I didn't got flats because of grinds or harsh landings. So if you avoid riding through shards a little bit and ride with enough pressure you'll for sure have long time fun with this tires.

When I was 15 years old I bought my first BMX and I didn't know how a proper BMX should be so I thought that I'll get a nice BMX for 380€. The frame was fully made of Hi-Ten, the crank was in an one-piece design and the whole bike was just so heavy and unstable. If I look at the Felt "Chasm" 2012 BMX Bike I think it was sad for me that there hadn't been this good beginners bikes when I started riding. Everything one this bike is worth it's 389.95€, it won't be broken within the first tricks and the flashy green simply looks fancy.

Riding four pegs is simply awesome. You have twice as much possibilties to grind than you had before but there's one bad issue about this: my chains broke to often. I sold a customer the Odyssey "Million Dollar" Sprocket in the kunstform?! BMX Shop and I immediately wanted to get this sprocket. I ordered the sprocket than put it on my BMX and since then I grind every curb or flatrail I see. The chains hold up great now and I don't want to resign on my bashguard sprocket ever again.

I had to try one of the new Lotek shoes as they were arriving in the kunstform BMX Shop?! and my choice had been the Lotek " Mike XL" Spring 2011 shoes in black/red. As most of you know Felt Bikes Pro & kunstform?! founder Seppl had some serious problems with his back for quite a long time now. Missing three contest finals in a row for just one place (Carhartt Game of Skills, Bike Days, BMX Masters) because it did not get any better, he decided to take a break. Like 3 years ago, Seppl took a doctors odyssey to finally get to the base on the ropes. Conclusion: Two lumbar vertebrae are too far forward. Lack of or wrong move, one-sided riding and stress surely do play a role as well.

But all things come to an end. Seppl is currently on track to be fit again soon. "In the magical age of 30, I decided to listen to the signals of my body. Getting my back problems under control is only one part of the whole. I also got short of breath for ages. After 5 years of thinking, I got my nasal septum aligned and got my external nasal turbinates smaller." Last Sunday, Seppl came from the hospital and so far everything looks good. "By the way, the whole thing has nothing to do with cosmetic surgery..." Sounds plausible, we've already seen that it looks exactly the same.

Moreover Seppl has a small video for you. "Since my doctor advised not to do x-footed tricks, I decided to take BMX riding easy...". If all goes well, Seppl will attend this years Rebeljam. In 2012, everything should hopefully be running as usual.

Recently my whole tools got lost and I needed new tols really fast because I always have to fix something at my BMX bike every session. At first I wanted to buy a ratchet with extension and withing attachments, a spoke spanner and so on. But this was quite expensive and so I had to think of the Animal "Kotulak" Multi-Tool< which I have seen a friend using. This multi-tool has everything you need, is really compact and will fit in every little bag and it is also well machined, too. In Stuttgart will be the possibility now to ride indoor BMX at the Skatehall of the BOOST e.V.! Yesterday was a meeting with BMX riders and the skaters in Stuttgart. From now on it will be possible to ride every Thursday from 5pm to 8 pm. Only alowed with pvc pegs, plvc pedals, helmets and pvc barends. Please keep respectfull to all and try to keep this possibility as a beginning of a better future for BMX in Stuttgart.

Fourteen riders from both teams starting with two buses in Stuttgart going to Lyon-Marseille-Montpelier-Malaga and finaly end up in Portimao at the Fieldcontrol flatland contest. The BMX szene in Stuttgart developed compare to other cities like Cologne or Berlin in Germany very slow. Just in the last years we opened with kunstform?! BMX Shop the first BMX Shop in Stuttgart and as well Oliver Kienzle founded the BMX bike company Stereo Bikes which has amazing good BMX bikes. But not only companies started to develope in Stuttgart also the riders coming up with more and more hard tricks and good style. One of this dude is the kunstform?! BMX Shop and Stereo Bikes Teamrider Tobi Schumacher. He has a good progression and a very nice attitude to ride his BMX bike. So just a good spot is missing but we trying our best and going forward step by step.

kunstform?! BMX Shop History

Everything starts small, and so did we! Here is the story of the kunstform?! BMX Shop

BMX Shop 1.1

kunstform?! was born on October 23 2003. Back then it was not a BMX shop but a wholesale trade. In the beginning Sebastian "Seppl" Pospischil started kunstform?! for the distribution of Artzone, FLATtv and Quamen.

In 2004 www.kunstform.org is the first offcial homepage. Back then kunstform?! is operated as a one-man show out of Seppls shared apartment. Two steel closets function as stock room and the desk is right next to his bed.

In the same year the first kunstform?! product is released, the kunstform?! "ooh-Rings" grip rings. The offer gets expanded to a direct sale and a small shop is included in the homepage.

In 2005 Seppl - still a solo fighter - takes a semester off from his economic studies at university to focus on his little business. The store gets bigger and bigger and so he starts a real online BMX shop which is launched as a Flatland-only shop on July 29 2005. This is the foundation for kunstform?! as a BMX shop and BMX mail order.

In 2006 kunstform?! has its first sales booth at the biggest German BMX event, the BMX Masters. Besides the organizational effort, the sales hassle and the scorching heat Seppl participates in the pro contest and finishes sensationally as 4th. Big shout outs go to Stephi, Roman and Wastl for their support during these stressful days!

2007 is characterized by many turbulences. Seppl starts a practical semester at his sponsor adidas and works there, writes his final for university and improves his BMX skills. Therefore kunstform?! moves to Daniel Fuhrmann and his roommate Simon who operate the business out of their apartment.

In the second half of 2007 Raiko out of Karlsruhe takes over the business and manages all orders of the BMX shop. Thanks goes out to these three guys during these rather chaotic months! By the end of 2007 the BMX shop moves back home. The Heilbronner Strasse in downtown Stuttgart becomes the company headquarters, mostly as a stock room and office.

2008 has been so far the most important year in the history of kunstform?!. Flo Sailer, who joined the company in 2007 and started BMX riding with Seppl back in Munich becomes the first full time staff member. Soon the office and stock room get way to small for the products so the rooms get expanded and as a pre-stage to the actual storefront a showroom is established.

By the middle of 2008 Daniel Fuhrmann, who has been always involved within the company becomes the admin in order to achieve Seppls ambitious goal to create the best online BMX shop in the scene! At the same time Flo and Daniel work on kunstforms?! first offline BMX Shop, which is opened on November 17 2008.

2009 is going to be an exciting year. The flagship store receives great support from the scene and so we decided to put the whole line of goods online. As a novelty we included an option that enables you to filter our stuff by BMX Street, BMX Flatland as well as Fashion.

2010 was primarily characterized by strenghtening our internal processes. In retrospect we can say that all the stress was worth it and everything will be fine. The year came to an even better end. With the relocation of our office, we have fulfilled a long cherished dream. Work ing and riding BMX Flatland in a 90 square meters office, covered with a nice OSB contest floor.

In addition, we have also moved the scene a lot. The Boost Skate Hall in Stuttgart Bad Cannstadt now offers 1 BMX day per week. In Stuttgart-West we have found a BMX Flatland indoor sport with perfect concrete surface, which will initially be available 2x days per week. We also want to offer courses for the kids in the near future in order to support the next generation in a better way. In this sense: on a successful 2011!

National as well as international we ship all our packages with DHL. For all national shippings we now can use the GoGreen option from DHL. For a little additional charge apiece (wich kunstform?! is paying!) DHL will send the package as low emission as possible. We really want to support that especially DHL will use that extra money to support climate friendly projects. Of course we or DHL will not save the planet with that but it´s a beginning. In addition to our Online BMX Shop we opened an actual walk-in BMX Shop in the heart of our hometown Stuttgart in the middle of 2008. In order to support the local scene we decided to offer products from all diciplines and not only focus on BMX Flatland stuff. So we are a real BMX shop. kunstform?! founder Seppl has always been an allrounder and even has a BMX race bike in his cellar.

In our BMX Shop we do not only offer you the hottest BMX stuff and apparel from select brands, but also accessories like watches, headphones and bed linen. Just come by for a drink and ride a session with the locals at the nearby spots!

After month of planning and hard work all the days and nights we finally did it! The new kunstform?! BMX Shop is online! First of all you can see that we now also have street stuff in da house!
