Rock band
or BMX pros? With A
Bad Thing you can
never be really sure about
it... No but seriously, <>A Bad
Thing is one of the hottest
BMX Flatland companies at the
moment. In addition to Nora
Cup winner, contest winning
machine and web video banger
Matthias Dandois, A Bad Thing
team manager Alain Massabova
has probably the illest team
right now consisting of Alex
Jumelin, Raphaël Chiquet,
Alexis Desolneux, Terry Adams
& Ucchie.
A Bad Thing is speaking
french...
Have you heard anything
about Mukiflat yet? The Trial
Company Koxx became involved
in BMX Flatland in 2005 and
developed their first flatland
frame in co-operation with
Mustapha Meghaizerou. They
quickly added Sam Foakes as a
team rider and Mukiflat gained
recognition throughout the
scene.
In 2007 the big bang
parallel to Mukiflat happened:
Alex, Alexis, Matthias and
Raph all left their longtime
sponsors at the same time and
joined the "rock band"
A Bad Thing
under the management of Koxx.
And these guys seemed to have
learnt their lesson: with the
addition of Alain Massabova
(Bruder von St
Martin Owner Manu) they
got a skilled man on board
with a lot of industry
experience. This dude can look
back to almost half a century
of BMX experience and is also
the editor-in-chief at Cream
Magazine. So this pretty
much guarantees you a perfect
marketing! Since then the
A Bad Thing
team is on wolrd tour and will
definitely show up at a
contest near you!
This is really positive:
all A Bad
Thing team riders are
closely involved in the
product development process,
which is pretty clear when you
look at the products: just
hardcore Flatland! A Bad Thing
stuff is characterized by
clean lines paired with high
functionality. Just have a
look at the fork or the pegs
and you know what I mean. So
if you wanna be part of the
"band" then there is no way
around A Bad
Thing!
