SE Bikes FAQ

In the year 1977, the 19 years old Scot Breithaupt founded Scot Enterprises, that was the beginning of SE Bikes. Back in the years Scot reached publicity by organisating BMX Race events, designing BMX Race tracks and managing racing teams. The first SE Bikes frame, the STR-1 (known as the quadangle) and the aluminium frame JU-6, got a lot of fans quickly. Perry Kramer, one of the best rider in the SE Bikes team when the JU-6 frames were produced, came up with an innovative idea. The strength of the frame would be much higher if an gusset would be welded to the top tube. To produce the new version, the JU-6 got redesigned and became Perry's signature frame: the "PK RIPPER" was born. The SE Bikes "PK RIPPER" became one of the most famous BMX frame in history. Today, after 35+ years, SE Bikes still stays for innovations and new designes, and shows that SE Bikes is not only an company for "OLD School" riders.
