Which nut do I need?
- Axle Nuts
- For male axles. Usually metric fine thread. Check if you have a 10mm (front) or 14mm (rear) axle.
- Bolts
- For female axles. There are different thread pitches (e.g., 3/8 inch x 24tpi (Profile) or metric M10). When in doubt: Check manufacturer specs!
Installation Tips
- Always use a washer to prevent the nut from eating into the dropout.
- Lightly grease the threads to achieve maximum clamping force.
- Use proper tools (17mm socket or high-quality Allen key) to avoid rounding the edges.
