Eastern Bikes was founded in 1996 by Jon Byers, Keith King and Mike Corley in the USA. Easter Bikes is a Riderowned Company why gets quite obvious when you have a look at the date, they founded the company.

BMX was dead
In the early 90ies BMX was dead and most of the companies disappeared. Besides Eastern only 2-Hip, Hoffman Bikes and Standard remained. Back then they put much value on stability. For example the Eastern Bandit frame, kunstform?! Owner Sebastian Pospischil rode himself, weighed over 3kg. Of course such products belong at Eastern Bikes to the past.Eastern Bikes products
All frames and bars from Eastern Bikes originally came from the USA. In 2000 they decided to produce all products in Taiwan which they didn't regret at any time. Until now they produce high quality parts with nice features like the cut outs at the Reaper frame for a nice look and a low weight.
