BMX Helmets
The standard for Street, Park, and Flatland. A classic BMX Half-Shell Helmet protects the top, back, and sides of your head while offering a low profile. We stock certified helmets from Shadow, TSG, and Fuse that look good and fit perfectly. Rule #1: No ride without a lid.

BMX Helmets FAQ
What makes a good BMX Helmet?
Unlike aerodynamic road bike helmets, BMX helmets ("Bucket Style") are designed to withstand multiple impacts from different angles and cover the back of the head (occipital bone) better.
Construction Types: In-Mold vs. Hardshell
- Hardshell (ABS)
- The classic robust construction. A thick ABS plastic shell is glued to the inner EPS foam.
Pros: Extremely durable against scratches and minor knocks. Usually cheaper. - In-Mold
- The outer shell is fused directly with the EPS foam during manufacturing.
Pros: Significantly lighter and thinner (less "mushroom head" look). Ideally for riders who hate the weight of a helmet.
Safety Standards
Look for the EN 1078 or CPSC sticker inside. This certifies that the helmet has passed rigorous shock absorption tests. We strongly advise against using uncertified "soft foam" helmets for anything other than flatland riding.
When to replace?
After every hard impact! The inner foam compresses to save your life and does not expand back. A crashed helmet is trash, even if it looks fine on the outside.
