MTB Wheels
A strong wheel is the backbone of your dirt bike. While 29-inch dominates the trails, 26-inch is king in Dirt Jump due to stability and agility. Here you will find hand-built custom wheels and affordable complete sets with robust double-wall rims and singlespeed hubs.

MTB Wheels FAQ
What makes a good Dirt Jump wheel?
Unlike trail wheels that are designed to flex, a Dirt wheel needs to be extremely stiff ("bombproof"). It has to withstand botched landings (casings) without buckling immediately. That's why we rely on 32 or 36 spokes and sturdy aluminum double-wall rims.
Which axle standards do I need?
This is the most common question. Check your fork and frame:
| Position | Standard | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Front Wheel | 15x100mm / 20x110mm | Thru-axles (Non-Boost) are standard on DJ forks (Pike DJ, Circus). Quick releases are extinct. |
| Rear Wheel | 10x135mm (Bolt-On) | Standard for almost all Dirt frames. The axle is tightened with bolts (no QR!) so the wheel doesn't slip under hard acceleration. |
Singlespeed vs. Gears?
Our MTB Dirt rear wheels usually come as pure Singlespeed versions. This means they have a special short freehub body or an integrated driver (like BMX) for a single cog. This is stronger and lighter than a cassette hub with spacers.
How do I maintain my wheels?
- Regularly check spoke tension. Loose spokes are the main reason for buckled wheels.
- True the wheel immediately if it wobbles to avoid permanent damage to the rim.
