Pants FAQ
Slim vs. Loose Fit
Trends change, but function remains:
- Slim / Skinny
- Tight on the leg, no risk of getting caught in the chain. Still comfortable thanks to stretch.
- Loose / Baggy
- Maximum freedom and old-school style. Just make sure to roll up or secure your right pant leg!
Streetwear vs. Race Wear
Are you looking for pants specifically for the race track? While our jeans are perfect for Street, Park, and Dirt, racing has different requirements.
- Streetwear (Here): Cotton mix. Breathable, stylish, suitable for everyday use.
- Race Wear: Heavy-duty Polyester/Nylon. Extremely abrasion-resistant, slides on concrete, often mandatory for competitions.

Tech Talk: Why Stretch is a Gamechanger
In the past, jeans were made of 100% Cotton. The material was incredibly tough but stiff as a board ("Rigid Denim"). For BMX riders, this often meant restricted movement or ripped seams in the crotch area upon the first hard landing.
What does Elastane do?
Modern riding pants weave 1-3% Elastane (Spandex) into the cotton fabric. This synthetic fiber is extremely elastic. The result: The pants look like classic denim but feel like sweatpants. They expand with your muscles instead of working against them.
