MTB Tubes
Butyl or High-Tech Thermoplastic? The tube massively affects weight and puncture protection. For maximum weight savings on the pumptrack, we recommend Tubolito (TPU). For hard street daily use, robust butyl tubes are the affordable and reliable choice.

Which valve do I need?
Check the hole in your rim!
- AV (Schrader / Car Valve)
- Thick valve (like on a car). Very robust, easy to inflate at any gas station. Standard on most Dirt bikes.
- SV (Presta / French)
- Thin valve with a small nut. Holds high pressure well, but bends more easily. Requires a smaller rim hole (6.5mm).
TPU (Tubolito) vs. Butyl (Rubber)
- Butyl (Black): The standard. Cheap, easy to patch, stretchy. Weighs approx. 150-200g.
- TPU (Orange - Tubolito): High-Tech plastic. Extremely light (approx. 40-80g!), very puncture resistant, but more expensive. The easiest tuning for your bike to save rotating mass!
