Why do I need a special Chain Tool?
Half-Link Chains have wider plates and thicker pins than road or MTB chains. A cheap, standard chain tool will likely snap its driving pin or bend its body when used on a BMX chain. Investing in a pro-level BMX chain breaker saves you money and frustration in the long run.
