BMX Race Barends
Safety is mandatory – protect yourself with durable BMX Race Bar Ends. Open handlebar ends act like a "cookie cutter" in a crash and can cause serious injuries. That implies: No Bar Ends = No Race Start! We carry lightweight plastic plugs and secure aluminum expansion plugs.

Why are Bar Ends so critical?
Bar Ends (Plugs) seal the open ends of your metal handlebar. In a crash, an open tube can easily puncture skin or organs (the core sample effect). Therefore, functional bar ends are strictly mandatory in UCI regulations and at every local race track.
Types of Bar Ends
- Push-In (Plastic/Rubber)
- Simple plugs that are pushed into the bar.
Pros: Extremely light and cheap. Often included with grips.
Cons: Can fall out in a crash. Check them before every moto! - Expansion (Aluminum/Metal)
- Use a wedge mechanism that expands inside the bar when you tighten a screw.
Pros: They stay in place securely, protect the handlebar tube from damage, and look high-quality.
Cons: Slightly heavier.
Installation Tip
If you use aluminum bars, be gentle with expansion plugs! Do not overtighten them, as thin-walled race bars can bulge or crack.
