Googles
Clear vision means full speed. Goggles are the windshield for your face. Whether you are battling dust in a BMX heat or mud on a Downhill trail, they protect your eyes from wind, flying debris, and UV radiation. Designed to fit perfectly inside Full Face Helmets, they are an indispensable part of your race kit.

Googles FAQ
Why are Goggles essential?
In BMX Racing and Gravity MTB, you are constantly exposed to projectiles. Goggles serve three main purposes:
- Debris Protection (Roost): The rider in front of you kicks up dirt, stones, and dust. Without goggles, you will be blinking or closing your eyes exactly when you need to focus on the next jump.
- Wind Protection: At speeds over 30km/h, your eyes start to water from the wind. Goggles create a sealed air chamber so your vision remains razor-sharp.
- Obstacle Protection: On MTB trails, they protect against whipping branches and mud splatters.
Which Lens for which weather?
Most goggles allow you to swap lenses. Choosing the right tint is crucial for depth perception:
- Clear Lens (Transparent)
- Best for: Cloudy days, indoor tracks, or riding in the woods.
Benefit: Maximum light transmission. You see obstacles clearly even in shadows. - Mirrored / Tinted Lens
- Best for: Bright sunny days and open BMX tracks.
Benefit: Reduces glare and prevents you from getting blinded by the sun while jumping. - Yellow / Amber Lens
- Best for: Overcast or flat light conditions.
Benefit: Increases contrast, helping you see ruts and bumps better.
Tear-Offs vs. Roll-Offs
If you ride in wet or muddy conditions, you need a system to clear your vision:
- Tear-Offs: Thin plastic sheets stacked on the lens. When covered in mud, you rip one off to reveal a clean layer. Standard in BMX Racing.
- Roll-Offs: A film canister system that scrolls a clear film across the lens when you pull a cord. Better for extreme mud (Motocross/Downhill).
Care Tip: Protect the Anti-Fog!
Modern lenses have a sensitive Anti-Fog coating on the inside.
NEVER wipe the inside of a wet lens with your glove or a rough cloth! This will scratch off the coating and make the goggles fog up permanently. Let them air dry or dab gently with a microfiber cloth.
