Urban Bikes
Bikes from BMX brands for everything that is not a BMX. Urban bikes here are city and gravel bikes with gears and disc brakes: the Fairdale Weekender Nomad with drop bars for gravel and country roads, the Nomad MX and the Lookfar with flat bars for the commute, plus the Divide by Radio Bikes. Fairdale was founded by Taj Mihelich, one of the defining BMX riders of the 90s and 2000s, and his bikes are designed from a BMX rider's point of view: steel frames, a relaxed position, wide tyres and little that can break.

Which urban bike is right for me?
Every bike here has a steel frame, a derailleur drivetrain and disc brakes. What differs is the handlebar, and with it the riding position:

Which frame size do I need?
Every frame size is its own product in our shop. The rider heights are Fairdale's and overlap on purpose; at the boundary it comes down to preference: the smaller frame is nimbler, the larger one more stretched out.

Why does a BMX shop sell these bikes?
Because BMX riders build them. Taj Mihelich founded Fairdale in Austin, Texas in 2009 after almost twenty years as a pro. His bikes are neither racing machines nor catalogue trekking bikes; they are what a BMX rider rides when not on the BMX: simple, sturdy, with parts you know. The Divide by Radio Bikes comes from the same corner. We ride them ourselves, which is why they are here.
