Who or what is Elvedes?
Elvedes started in 1965, when Lourens van der Spruijt began trading in moped parts. From 1977 the company focused entirely on mechanical control cables, first for the two-wheeler industry and later for other sectors as well. In 2002 his sons Carl and Peter took over the business.
Elvedes Cable Systems is based in Nieuwkuijk today and supplies cables, brake pads, discs, hydraulic hoses, bearings and bottom brackets to the aftermarket. The V-brake pads come as a cartridge version where only the pad itself is replaced.
