Fibrax FAQ
Who or what is Fibrax?
Fibrax was founded in London in 1902 and started out making brake and clutch linings for bicycles. The O'Brien family bought the company in 1975 and moved production to Wrexham in North Wales. Brake pads, disc pads and control cables are still made there today, alongside moulded rubber and plastic parts for industry.
In BMX, Fibrax is best known for its gyro cables. The cables for Gyro and Gyro 2 systems ship with an M6/M7 adapter and therefore fit the usual detangler brakes.
