Musguard
Musguard makes rollable plastic mudguards. They strap to the frame, need no tools and roll up small enough for a jersey pocket once the road dries out. Behind the brand is industrial designer Jurij Lozić from Ljubljana, who funded the idea through Kickstarter in 2013. The mudguards are made in Slovenia.

Who or what is Musguard?
Musguard is a small brand from Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2013 industrial designer Jurij Lozić designed a mudguard that ships flat and only takes its shape on the bike: rolled up it is about the size of a water bottle, on the frame it tensions into a channel above the tyre. The Kickstarter campaign behind it was funded within days, and the company Musguard d.o.o. has existed ever since.
What does Musguard make?
The range is deliberately small. Alongside the original mudguard there is the wider Omni generation for gravel and mountain bikes, which needs no brake bridge and fastens with two straps per guard, plus spare straps and a handlebar harness for bikepacking. The Omni guards are made from recycled polypropylene 0.8 mm thick.
Who is it for?
For anyone who only wants a mudguard on the bike when it is actually raining. Because nothing is bolted on, a Musguard goes on in a minute and comes off just as quickly. If you set off in the dry, you simply take it along rolled up.
