A wobble does not ride itself out. A spoke wrench lets you tension a loose spoke before it turns into a buckled wheel. The nipple size has to match: a wrench that sits loose rounds the nipple off and the spoke is gone. On a BMX that usually means 3.2mm or 3.4mm.

Choosing the right spoke wrench
