B2B Customers & Fellow Shops

We are a shop with an online store in Stuttgart, not a wholesaler. Saying that first, so nobody writes with the wrong expectation.

If you want to know who you are dealing with: we started in 2003 with two steel cabinets in a flatshare room. The documentary on 20 years of kunstform tells the way from there to the shop we run today.

What we do have is a well-stocked warehouse. And sometimes we can help out fellow shops from it: when something is missing at your end, a customer is waiting, or you do not carry a brand.

What is possible for trade customers

• Slightly reduced prices on our stock. This is not a dealer buying price, we give up part of our own margin. Honestly, there is not more in it, because we buy the same parts you do.
• Delivery without VAT within the EU if you have a valid VAT ID, as a zero-rated intra-community supply. Without a valid number this is not possible; that is not our decision to make.
• Smaller, special brands. Some brands do not pay off for a single shop: minimum order values, payment up front, long shipping routes. If several of us want the same thing, it can be organised together. Tell us what you are missing. We will say plainly whether we can get to it.

What we do not offer

• No distribution or territory rights, and no exclusivity.
• No guaranteed availability. We buy for our own business, and what is sold is gone.
• No price list to download. What you see in the shop is the stock; the discount sits on the account and applies once you are logged in.

How it works

1. Register normally. Create an account like any other customer. There is no separate B2B form.
2. Send an email to [email protected]. To make sense of it we need:
   • company name and address
   • VAT ID, only for delivery within the EU
   • business registration or company register extract
   • website, shop or social media profile
   • the email address you registered with
3. We get back to you. If it fits, we flag the account as B2B. Prices then change by themselves once you log in, nothing else to do on your side.

About the VAT ID

We check every number against the EU confirmation procedure (VIES) and record the result on the account. If the check does not confirm the number we deliver with VAT. That also applies when the number is genuine and the register simply is not answering; in that case we get in touch and try again.

For deliveries outside the EU the VAT ID does not matter: we ship there without German VAT anyway. Import VAT and customs duty then arise in the destination country and are yours to pay.

One more thing

We answer these by hand, between the shop counter and shipping. If a reply takes a few days, that is why, not a lack of interest.
