MTB Chainstay Protector

On rough descents the chain slaps against the chainstay, and the paint is the first thing to go. A chainstay protector wraps around the tube, takes the hits and makes the rear end audibly quieter. Neoprene models fasten with a hook and loop strap and come off again without tools, others are glued on or held by zip ties. Check the circumference of your chainstay so the protector sits tight and does not wander.
