Who or what is POINT?
Behind POINT stands POINT-Helmig GmbH from Overath near Cologne. The family business was founded in 1951 by Hans Helmig and is now run by the third generation. Since 1981 it has supplied bicycle manufacturers, wholesalers and dealers across Europe with spare and wear parts.
The range runs from chains and brakes to hubs, seat posts and tools. In BMX the MK 918 is the best known item, a half link chain in 1/2 x 1/8 inch with 102 links.
