The Last Hole
The Last Hole is no ordinary BMX hall. From 2012 on, the old boiler house of the cotton mill in Hohenfichte was turned into a wooden hall with a bowl and a park by hand, around Daniel Richter, with transitions right up to the roof. Out of the hall grew the annual Höhenflüge jam, which draws riders from all over Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria.Daniel is no longer with us, but what he built lives on: in the hall, in the Daniel Richter Award handed out at every Höhenflüge jam, and in the small crew that keeps the place going with a lot of heart. We are glad the Höhenflüge still exist. So keep the hall and the event alive: come by, ride, cheer and leave a little something at the door.
To get you in the mood, here is the @freedombmx video from the Höhenflüge 2022, Daniel Richter Award included. Enjoy!
See you in Hohenfichte!
