The Ryde "Andra 40 Disc" MTB Rim - 29" Inch is the disc brake version of Ryde's Andra 40, the profile the maker developed for cargo bikes: a pinned double wall rim made of 6063-T6 aluminium, powder coated, 25mm internal width for tyres from 29 to 71mm, built for a 120kg axle load and 1400N spoke tension. Without a CNC machined brake track the rim hook is particularly dent resistant. The nipple bed is thick and internally reinforced, the spoke holes are drilled 8 degrees radially and 2 degrees axially towards the hub, the valve hole takes Schrader valves. For 29 inch wheels that have to carry a lot, under heavy riders or on an e-MTB.
