microSHIFT has built derailleurs, shifters, cassettes and cranks in Taichung, Taiwan since 1999, founded by engineers who found drivetrains too expensive and too quick to wear out. The 1x groups Advent, Advent X and Acolyte (8 to 10 speeds, with a clutch derailleur) power many kids MTBs and dirt bikes; Sword covers gravel, plus the road groups.
