Who or what is CEMA?
CEMA Ceramic Bearing is part of Talentcom Technology Corporation, based in Zhubei near Hsinchu, Taiwan. The company makes ball bearings from chrome steel, stainless steel and ceramic for industry, medical equipment and electronics. The bicycle line is called SRC (Speed Racing Ceramic): bottom brackets for BSA, press fit BB86/BB92, BB386, BB30/PF30 and other standards, bearing kits for hubs and bottom brackets, derailleur pulleys and press tools.
The press fit bottom brackets are known for the Interlock system: both cups are screwed together through the sleeve, which prevents creaking in the frame and adds rigidity. The ceramic bearings run on G5 Si3N4 balls; the stainless and chrome steel versions are the more affordable builds of the same cups. In Europe the products are distributed by CEMA Europe (BT Belgium B.V., Hamont-Achel).
