The Santa Cruz "V10 8 CC" MTB Frame (with Shock) is the downhill frame the Santa Cruz Syndicate rode to its World Cup wins: a Carbon CC frame, VPP rear end with 208 mm of travel, designed around a 200 to 203 mm dual crown fork, size M as a mullet with 29" front and 27.5" rear, size XL with 29" wheels front and rear. The Fox DHX2 Factory Coil comes in the kit. Three adjustments with three positions each: the lower link flip chip for head angle and BB height (63° to 62.7°, 356 to 351 mm), the reach adjust headset cups for plus or minus 8 mm of reach, and the rear axle flip chip for chainstay length in 5 mm steps. Santa Cruz recommends the middle position of all three as the starting point. The leverage curve is designed around a coil shock, DH air shocks such as the Fox Float X2 or RockShox Vivid Air fit as well. Size M is a 455 mm reach, XL 500 mm, both with the headset cups in the middle and the high position. Santa Cruz backs the frame with a lifetime warranty and free bearing replacement for the original owner.
