Fork + Shock Oil

Servicing a suspension fork or shock means fresh oil in the damper cartridge and the lowers, and the viscosity decides how the damping responds: a light fork oil like 2.5W or 5W lets the damping work faster, a heavier one like 7.5W or 10W slows it down. Which viscosity and how much goes into your fork or shock is in the manufacturer service manual, stick to it. For looking after the stanchions from the outside there are the suspension sprays under Grease + Assembly Paste.
