Fork + Shock Oil

Servicing a suspension fork or shock means fresh oil in the damper cartridge and the lowers, and the viscosity decides how the damping responds: a light fork oil like 2.5W or 5W lets the damping work faster, a heavier one like 7.5W or 10W slows it down. Which viscosity and how much goes into your fork or shock is in the manufacturer service manual, stick to it.
