With the second generation Maxxis Forekaster you have a reliable partner for long rides, moderate trails, a fast lap in the woods or demanding XC races. Its open tread does not clog, grips in all ground conditions and gives plenty of confidence, also in winter. Aimed at modern short travel trail bikes with 100 to 130 mm of travel: it rolls fast but still provides solid cornering and braking traction.
The new single compound MaxxTerra is the evolution of the previous 3C MaxxTerra: 15 % more grip and 30 % longer tread life with the same low rolling resistance. EXO+ builds on the 60 TPI casing and combines the EXO sidewall layer with a butyl insert above the bead, made for aggressive trail riding and lighter enduro use. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant. The Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimised for rims with 30 to 35 mm inner width.
