Still Rolling - The documentary for 20 years of kunstform BMX Shop

Our documentary for the 20th anniversary is online. "Still Rolling, 20 Years of kunstform BMX Shop" tells the story of the shop from the very first order up to today. We worked on it for about three years.

In October 2003 it all started with 3,000 euros of capital, really just to gain some practical experience alongside university. Our first warehouse was two steel cabinets in a flatshare room above a kebab shop in Stuttgart.

From Hackstraße through the time we lived in the warehouse up to today's shop at Feuersee, a lot has happened. For the film we brought together founders, companions, staff and team riders, and we drove to every one of the old addresses again.

The scene and you as our customers have grown alongside us the whole time. Without your support over the last two decades this story would not exist. Thank you for that.

The film is divided into chapters and has subtitles in ten languages. Here is the trailer as a little taste:

We showed the film for the first time on June 16th, 2026, at the BMX Cinema Night, part of Flat du Palais at the StadtPalais Stuttgart. Several BMX films were on the programme and our documentary ran as the premiere of the evening. The poster still carries the title we announced it under back then.

Showing our own film in a building like that, a darkened hall, a big screen, a full house and proper cinema atmosphere, was a real honour for us. And the evening turned out to be quite emotional: a lot of companions from two decades came by, and that is exactly what the film is about.

Before and after the screening the square in front of the StadtPalais was the meeting point. Everyone sat together on the steps in the evening sun, the flatland area was being ridden, and inside the foyer the bikes were lined up along the wall. A great and memorable evening. Thank you to the team of Flat du Palais and to the StadtPalais Stuttgart for making it possible.
