The Wolf Tooth "GoatLink 11" Derailleur Adapter - Shimano 11 Speed repositions a Shimano 11 speed MTB rear derailleur (SLX M7000, XT M8000, XTR M9000) so it shifts wide range cassettes such as 10-42, 11-46 or 10-44 cleanly. Free chain length and chain wrap at the smallest cog come close to what Shimano intended, and shifting gets more precise. It does not increase derailleur capacity; cassettes from 45 teeth need a long cage (GS/SGS) derailleur. Standard derailleur hangers only, not for direct mount frames and not for SRAM derailleurs.
