The Alpina "Apax Jr. MIPS" MTB Helmet - Fading Purple Matt (Kids) is derived from the adult Apax: an MTB helmet for young riders with Mips against rotational forces in angled impacts. The polycarbonate Ceramic Shell is thermally in-mold bonded to the Hi-EPS, so the helmet weighs just 300 g according to Alpina, and an additional polycarbonate shell protects the lower edge. The rear and temples are pulled far down, large vents with insect mesh keep the head cool, and the visor protects the field of view. The Run System Classic with height adjustable Custom Fit dials the helmet in to the head, and the Multi-Fit Light rear light can be added. The Fading Purple Matt colourway fades from purple to blue with pink accents, in size 51-56 cm.
