The Tree Bicycle Co. "Collet Topload" Stem has a knee friendly shape that work well and don't damage the headtube. The Tree Bicycle Co. "Collet Topload" Stem is designed with a collet on the headtube. When the bolts are tightened the top and bottom of the stem come closer together thus compressing the collet piece onto the fork.
