The absoluteBLACK "Oval Boost" MTB Chainring - SRAM 3-Bolt Direct Mount (3 mm Offset) is the oval 1x chainring from absoluteBLACK for SRAM three-bolt direct mount cranks (DUB, GXP, BB30) in the Boost version: 3 mm offset and 52 mm chainline for Boost 148 frames – all of the offset is in the ring, the crank stays the same. Also fits SRAM Super Boost cranks. CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and type II anodised, with narrow-wide teeth and 3D machined tooth flanks that keep the chain on the ring without a chain guide and shed mud.
Ovality (10.2 to 14.4 %) and timing (110.5 to 116.3° after top dead centre) are matched to each tooth count: the pedal stroke gets easier through the dead spot and rear-wheel traction improves on climbs. Not compatible with Shimano HG+ and SRAM Flat Top chains.
