The absoluteBLACK "Oval HG+" MTB Chainring - 104 BCD (Shimano 12 Speed) is the oval 1x chainring from absoluteBLACK for cranks with a 4-arm spider and 104 mm BCD, with teeth matched to the Shimano 12 speed Hyperglide+ chain – e.g. for 104 mm power meter spiders or older Shimano, Race Face, FSA and e*thirteen cranks in a 12 speed drivetrain. CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and type II anodised, with narrow-wide teeth and 3D machined tooth flanks that keep the chain on the ring without a chain guide and shed mud.
Ovality (10.2 to 14.4 %) and timing (110.5 to 116.3° after top dead centre) are matched to each tooth count: the pedal stroke gets easier through the dead spot and rear-wheel traction improves on climbs. Works only with Shimano 12 speed HG+ chains; chainring bolts are not included.
