The Alive "6061 Guard" Sprocket is the lighter new version of the Alive Industry Guard sprocket. The guard is machined from the same piece of 6061 aluminium as the sprocket and protects the teeth while grinding. Compared to the previous Guard sprocket it saves around 30 percent weight without getting thinner: the body is 8mm thick and therefore also cleared for chains with 11mm pins. It is made in Kyoto, Japan.
