What makes a good BMX peg?
On pegs it is not better or worse that decides but where you ride: most indoor parks only allow plastic pegs, because steel damages the ramps - a peg with a replaceable plastic sleeve is the only option there and suits park, street and flatland besides, because it slides better on rails. For real street CrMo or steel pegs last longest, for flatland aluminium ones are the lightest; on sleeve pegs a CrMo or aluminium core is a matter of taste between strong and light. A heat-treated core survives harder grinds. Length and diameter are not a quality question - they have to match your axle and riding style. More on this in the category FAQ
