The e*thirteen "Flux Pro 33 Trail Carbon" MTB Rim - 29" is the lightest rim in the e*thirteen line: a carbon hoop with a low 17 mm profile for quick, nimble trail front wheels, with a lively ride feel and plenty of compliance. Light enough for technical singletrack and climbs, tough enough to take a beating; the low profile brings more control, comfort and less fatigue on long rides. For the rear the manufacturer recommends the Flux Pro 43 Carbon. 30 mm inner width, broad hookless flanges for tubeless security. Lifetime warranty, crashes included.

Carbon rim notice
On carbon rims, single layers of the laminate can crack, usually from hard landings or overloading. Such damage from use is not a defect: it is covered neither by the statutory warranty nor by any manufacturer's warranty. A rim with cracked layers should be checked before it is ridden again.
Our recommendation: carbon rims are best suited to experienced, professional use. Front wheel rather than rear, and park, dirt or race rather than street. Land clean and you keep the weight advantage for longer. Worth being aware of.
