The Halo "SAS" MTB Rear Wheel - 27.5" Inch is built around Halo's SAS rim made from T-10 heat treated aluminium with 30 mm internal width, 36 mm external width and 22 mm depth, made for tyres from 2.25" to 2.8". Halo describes the SAS wheels as tough all round mountain bike wheels. At its heart runs the Halo MT Supadrive hub with 120 points of engagement, sealed bearings and wide spaced flanges. The wheel fits 12 mm thru axles in 142 mm frames, and Halo includes end caps for 135 mm frames with 9 mm quick release. The freehub is for Shimano HG cassettes. The SAS rim is not tubeless compatible.
