Bob Haro is considered as the inventor of the BMX freestyle and has been associated with the Haro "Master" the first complete BMX Freestyle bike on the market in 1984 which was especially designed for freestyle and flatland tricks. The special inter alia thing about this Haro "Master" model are the twin top tubes of the frame which were then used by many freestyle riders as they mediated a better stand feeling when doing freestyle tricks. Very quickly this model has become a classic in the freestyle scene and is known worldwide today.
This Haro Bikes "DMC Master Vintage" 2016 BMX Bike has been designed in honor to Dennis Mc Coy's 50th birthday and will be available in a strongly limited edition. It is based on his Haro "Master" model which he rode back in 1986. The frame includes the as already known at that time twin tubes which were still famous in the 80's and provide with the 2-pc. freestyle handle bar and the Dia Compe U-brakes at front and rear a touch of old school flair. Parts like the fork, the 3-pc. crank set with 28T sprocket, the stem and the handlebar date from the Haro "Lineage" series which combine the highest quality and top modern today design. The wheelset of the Haro Bikes "DMC Master Vintage" 2016 BMX Bike consists of complete sealed cassette and fron hub and is laced into stable Haro "Sata" double wall rims. Likewise for the present time are a modern frame geometry with integrated headset and Mid BB, a high quality Gyro system and the 2.4" inch wide Haro "La Mensa "tires as a Tripod seat.
