The Hope Carbon Seatpost - 31.6mm is light enough for cross country and strong enough for rough trails: made in Barnoldswick from 24 layers of carbon, with T700 UD carbon for tensile strength and stiffness, 3K weave where a crash hits hardest and a 1K outer layer. Wall thickness varies with load, the inside is smooth without resin build up. On top sits an aluminium head with a single bolt clamp for standard 7 x 7 mm rails and 15 mm setback. Diameter 31.6mm, length 400 mm.
