How to install a rear brake on your BMX bike (video)

There are plenty of tricks that are far easier to practise with a rear brake, and fitting one is not as hard as it looks. The video shows the whole job.

Keep in mind that there are different brake systems, so your bike may look slightly different. Some frames have welded brake mounts, others take bolt-on mounts – and with bolt-on mounts you need to know which frame you have. BMX freestyle uses U-brakes almost exclusively, while BMX race often runs V-brakes.
