The third generation of the Maxxis High Roller sits between the Assegai and the Shorty with its hybrid tread design. Its range covers soft to hard ground, it steers precisely and holds its line. The open center knobs dig deep into wet or soft ground for reliable grip and braking, the large side knobs hold up even at extreme lean angles. With the 3C MaxxGrip compound it delivers the best cornering control, even on hard ground.
3C MaxxGrip is the stickiest, slowest rebounding compound Maxxis offers, the downhill compound of the World Cup riders with the best damping. DoubleDown (DD) is the enduro casing: two 120 TPI plies with a butyl sidewall insert, clearly tougher than EXO+ and lighter than the downhill casing. Folding tire, tubeless ready: run tubeless with sealant. The Wide Trail (WT) sizes are optimised for rims with 30 to 35 mm inner width.
