The MRP "SXg SL" MTB Chain Guide is MRP's chain guide for the gnarliest trails: upper and lower guides keep the chain secure on the ring, the fibre infused skid protects the chainring through rock gardens. Because the Whippersnapper lower guide has no moving parts, the SXg runs quietly and adds zero drag to the drivetrain.
The HD2 upper guide and the Whippersnapper are nylon with a TPU inner layer that absorbs impacts and mutes chain noise. Everything installs with a 4 mm hex key. The alloy version is available for 30-34 and 34-38 teeth on ISCG 05, as a 2-bolt version and as a custom version for the Norco Range with high idler.
