The Romy is Schwalbe's all-rounder for mountain bike and e-MTB: a trail and all mountain tyre with gravity genes that combines low weight with balanced handling and stays aggressive enough for demanding trails, on the front wheel as on the rear.
The MID compound sits between SOFT and SPEED: rolling faster than SOFT, with more grip than a pure race compound, for the rear wheel and long rides. The casing: TRAIL PRO in radial construction, the balance of weight and robustness for trail and all mountain. In the radial casing the threads run at a blunter angle, so the tyre conforms better to the ground and has a larger contact patch, which brings more grip and more damping. Folding bead, Tubeless Ready (TLR): can be run tubeless with sealant.
