The Romy is Schwalbe's all-rounder for mountain bike and e-MTB: a trail and all mountain tyre with gravity genes that combines low weight with balanced handling and stays aggressive enough for demanding trails, on the front wheel as on the rear.
SOFT is the softer compound with more damping and grip, for the front wheel and demanding trails. The casing: GRAVITY PRO in radial construction, the most robust construction with the best puncture protection for harder use or heavier bikes, two-ply (2x67 EPI) with an additional casing layer and APEX fabric reinforcement. In the radial casing the threads run at a blunter angle, so the tyre conforms better to the ground and has a larger contact patch, which brings more grip and more damping. Folding bead, Tubeless Ready (TLR): can be run tubeless with sealant.
