The Wolf Tooth "CTRL Performance Trail" MTB Clipless Pedals are the more affordable version of the Wolf Tooth CTRL Trail clipless pedals: the same SPD compatible binding with 5 degrees of float and a 12 degree release angle, the same large 965 mm² platform that supports the shoe all round, but a forged and post-machined aluminium body instead of the CNC body and a fixed 55 mm Q factor. At 16 mm stack and 341 g per pair they stay thinner and lighter than the trail clipless pedals from Shimano (XTR 9220: 18.2 mm, 439 g) and Hope. Axle and bearings come from the Waveform platform pedal, the open centre between the binding cages sheds mud. Cleats with shims and bolts are included, every part is available from the manufacturer as a replacement.
