The absoluteBLACK "Oval Boost HG+" MTB Chainring - Race Face Cinch Direct Mount (Shimano 12-speed) is the oval 1x chainring from absoluteBLACK for cranks with Race Face CINCH direct mount, designed for Shimano 12 speed Hyperglide+ chains (CN-M9100, M8100, M7100, M6100): the teeth are thicker and shaped specifically for the HG+ chain profile. Boost version with 3 mm offset and a 52 mm chainline for frames with 148 mm spacing, can be mounted reversed on fat bikes.
CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and type II anodised, with a narrow-wide tooth profile. Ovality (10.2 to 14.4 %) and timing (110.5 to 116.3°) are matched to the tooth count: the pedal stroke gets easier through the dead spot and rear-wheel traction improves on climbs. A mark on the back sets the recommended position on the crank arm. For Shimano HG+ 12 speed chains only – not compatible with other chains.
