The absoluteBLACK "Oval" MTB Chainring - Race Face Cinch Direct Mount (Non-Boost) is the oval 1x chainring from absoluteBLACK for cranks with Race Face CINCH direct mount – the non-Boost version with 6 mm offset and a 49 mm chainline for frames with 135 or 142 mm spacing. CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and type II anodised, with a narrow-wide tooth profile that keeps the chain on the ring without a chain guide.
Ovality (10.2 to 14.4 %) and timing (110.5 to 116.3°) are matched to the tooth count: the pedal stroke gets easier through the dead spot and rear-wheel traction improves on climbs. A mark on the back sets the recommended position on the crank arm; the splines let you rotate the ring in 22° steps. For 10, 11 and 12 speed chains from SRAM and KMC – not compatible with Shimano HG+ and SRAM Flat Top chains.
