The absoluteBLACK "Oval T-Type" MTB Chainring - SRAM 8-Bolt Direct Mount is the oval 1x chainring from absoluteBLACK for SRAM Eagle Transmission (T-Type) cranks with the 8-bolt mount, e.g. XX SL Eagle, XX Eagle and X0 Eagle with 174 mm Q-factor. 3 mm offset like the stock part, 55 mm chainline. The teeth are reshaped for the narrower chains of the Transmission drivetrain and still shed mud. CNC machined from 7075 aluminium, type II anodised.
Ovality (10.2 to 14.4 %) and timing (110.5 to 116.3° after top dead centre) are matched to each tooth count: the pedal stroke gets easier through the dead spot and rear-wheel traction improves on climbs. Not for cranks with the narrow 168 mm Q-factor; KMC chains are not recommended by the manufacturer. Not compatible with chainring-mounted bash guards.
