MTN Components by Lukas Knopf: Now available at kunstform

New at kunstform: MTN Components, the parts by Lukas Knopf. Many of you know Lukas from his YouTube videos, where he has been showing and explaining tricks on the mountain bike for years. With MTN Components he makes the parts he rides himself every day: bars, stems, grips and everything a cockpit for barspins and no-hand tricks needs.

The riser bar has proven itself as Lukas' barspin bar: 800 mm wide and cuttable, 31.8 mm clamp, with 25 or 38 mm rise. We especially like the chrome version, the bar and ahead stem really shine together. If you prefer it plain, go for matte black. For downhill and freeride bikes there is the Direct Mount stem V.2, adjustable to 45 or 50 mm.

On top of that come the grips as lock-on or slip-on, among others in blue camo and grey camo, the MTB mudguard, the Rail seatpost and the headset spacers. The Cheat Claw V.2 is a through-going star nut with a large groove for the brake hose, so you do not have to re-press the hose when fitting it. And with the derailleur mounting plate, made in Germany, a SRAM derailleur sits directly on the frame.

Behind MTN Components there is no big corporation, but a rider with a small team who are on the bike every day themselves. Lukas tried and adjusted the dimensions of the parts over years of his own riding. Brands like this keep our scene going: the creativity, the constant improvement, the progress.
