The DMR "Deathgrip2 Race Ø29.8mm" MTB Lock-On Grips are DMR's second generation Deathgrip, developed with Brendan Fairclough. The pattern stayed: a soft mushroom zone under thumb and index finger, diamond knurl on top for grip and a waffle layout underneath that holds the fingers in place. New are the exposed plastic core end, an injection moulded DMR end cap in the grip colour and a slimmer lock ring that sits flush in the grip body. The tapered core pulls the grip tight as it slides on and a single bolt does the clamping. The Race version carries the softest compound in the range for maximum grip. This version comes with a flange and with a 29.8mm outer diameter.
